Another Country
Another Country was designed for quality cocktails, delicious bites, and great music. The space is warm, casual, bold, and joyful.
Limited by low ceilings, the shallow height was embraced through the use of a moody and dark palette, and minimal low-profile lighting. As the heart of the space, the bar was designed to glow within the darker room, and is brought to life with the owner's vinyl collection, liquor and glassware.
We introduced patterns and textures for warmth, such as naturally water-resistant cork, solid white oak, repurposed pine, travertine countertops, and textured plaster walls. Materials are meant to wear or patina over time - none of it too precious.
